PROJECT WINTERPACK
Winter is almost upon us. Before long, we will start seeing the all-too familiar sight of people on the streets huddled next to small fires trying to keep themselves warm, bundled up in whatever little clothes they have.
Especially heartbreaking is the sight of very poor children shivering in the brutal Delhi cold
Have you ever wished you could do something to help them? You can.
Every winter, Family Vision Foundation carries out Project Winterpack, in which we give out ‘Winterpacks’ to those living below poverty line on the streets and in urban slums.
Each Winterpack contains:
• A new, warm, good quality warm blanket
• A woolen cap
• A pair of woolen gloves
• A pair of socks
• A woolen muffler
These Winterpacks help the neediest people survive the winter months.
We would like to give out at least 2000 Winterpacks this winter. The cost for each pack comes to Rs. 700/-.
